I don’t know if you realize this but Maker Faire: Kansas City just
got super-sized! We now will run a second day giving us two
whole days of Maker awesomeness!
So that means the new times and dates are as follows:
- Friday June 24th will be setup and a Maker networking event.
(information will be sent directly to Makers that signed up),
- Saturday we will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and
- Sunday we will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..
How can you participate?
First and foremost is as a Maker! Do you know someone who has created something cool or awesome? Are they a crafter, machinist or an artist? Is that person you!? If so sign up here for a free space to show KC how diverse our Maker community is: Maker entry form.
The Maker Faire atmosphere would not be complete without music, if you are a band or musician and would like a free stage to show how creative you are then sign up here: Music Maker entry form.
If you are a vendor that feels like this is your audience and your product is relevant to the Maker community and philosophy then you are welcome to sign up here:Exhibitor form.
We could not do this without passionate volunteers to help keep the event running smoothly, you will receive a day pass and t-shirt for your genorosity, more information is here: Volunteer form.
And last but not least come and see all the fabulous projects people are bringing! Tickets are only $10 ($7 for members) and include access to Science City! Information about purchasing tickets can be found here (online ticketing coming soon): Tickets.
So as you can see there are many different ways to particpate and we hope you can send Makers to us and bring your friends and family to see Kansas City’s Art and Technology enthusiasts do what they do best!
