Faire Gets Rolling

Makers and guests experienced the electrifying sounds of Arc Attack tuning up and the sleek forms of artful choppers during opening events the night before the first Maker Faire Kansas City opens to the public on Saturday. Maker Faire founders Tim O’Reilly and Dale Dougherty set the tone for the Faire, calling makers an important return to the inventive spirit this country was created upon.

Judging by the variety of exhibits being put up Friday night, the weekend promises to have something for everyone.
