President Barack Obama helped young maker Joey Hudy fire his “Extreme Marshmallow Cannon” at the 2012 White House Science Fair. Joey has not only met the president, but he has also won numerous engineering awards and started his own business, and this year Business Insider named Joey one of the 10 smartest kids in the world.
Joey will be at Union Station throughout the week leading up to Maker Faire showing demonstrations and helping with summer camp at Science City. At Maker Faire: Kansas City, Joey will show off his LED Arduino Shields which he sells on several websites including makershed.com.
